Equine ambulatory associate position in the stunning Napa Valley. Napa Valley Equine is a four-doctor
practice looking to expand. We are a general equine practice that is also partnered with a larger referral
practice - Loomis Basin Equine Medical Center. This partnership allows our doctors to perform as field
practitioners with the ability to collaborate with specialists. Our practice emphasizes a kind, caring, and
cooperative team approach. We want to emphasize that enjoying the job is a highest priority, we take a
good sense of humor very seriously. We are seeking a candidate who is warm with clients and who has
a focus on client service and team collaboration. The position may be full or part-time and emergency
duty is rotated between doctors.

Napa Valley Equine is a primarily ambulatory practice located in the heart of the Napa Valley, CA. We
work from a clinic that allows for haul-in appointments and limited hospitalization. Our practice base
serves pleasure horse, trail/endurance horse, sport horse, and pasture horse populations. Ruminants
are seen in a limited capacity. We offer digital radiology, digital ultrasound, gastroscopy, sports medicine
therapeutics, shockwave, cold laser, advanced dental care, reproductive care, acupuncture, emergency,
and wellness services.
About Loomis Basin Equine Medical Center:
Loomis Basin Equine Medical Center is a referral hospital located in Penryn, CA at the base of the Sierra
Foothills. The hospital provides referral services for a group of 4 practices with 40 veterinarians. The
hospital is located on a 25-acre facility that houses between 60-100 horses. Facilities include 2 hospital
barns, 2 ICUs, 2 isolation facilities, and an array of covered paddocks and pastures. The hospital has a
full surgical suite, MRI, digital radiography, digital ultrasound, and endoscopy. The group of doctors is
highly collaborative with a team approach to continuing education, patient care and client services.
