Philosophy of Internship: This is a hands-on internship aimed at providing highly motivated veterinarians with experience in a variety of diagnostic and treatment disciplines in an ambulatory and referral hospital environment as well as helping interns develop their client communication skills.  The intern is closely mentored throughout their experience.  The internship provides a very broad experience in primary equine practice and referral practice.  We focus on sport horses but care for horses competing in many disciplines as well as horses that are family companions. Significant experience will be gained in lameness examination and imaging as well as surgery, anesthesia, ophthalmology and internal medicine.
