Performance Equine Vets is currently accepting applications for two ambulatory veterinarians to join our team. The practice provides comprehensive care to a diverse clientele of english and western performance, hunter/jumper, dressage, polo, driving, eventing, pleasure and trail horses. We offer ambulatory services, outpatient care, routine and specialty reproduction, critical care hospitalization, advanced lameness and surgery, and 24-hour full emergency referral services. Our practice is known for its high quality care, professionalism, and team atmosphere. There are currently 4 general practitioners, 2 surgeons, and an internal medicine specialist. The successful candidate must possess a solid knowledge of equine veterinary medicine, be highly motivated, and be willing to work as part of a team. The position will involve ambulatory general practice work and allow for special growth in the candidates area of interest. Emergency call would be shared with other associates, with rotating three day weekends off. Patient care is an important aspect of our philosophy. We are seeking a candidate with attention to detail, compassion for the animals, and skills to perform quality medicine. Mentorship and training will be provided to recent graduates. It is important to us that our veterinarians achieve a preferred quality of life balance. Small/Mixed animal work is available if candidate is interested.

A comprehensive package will be offered based on experience. All veterinarians are provided a practice vehicle, phone, computer, and supplies.

Facilities include climate-controlled hospital stalls, isolation, surgical suite and recovery stalls, covered lameness area, rehabilitation facilities, ICU and NICU, and reproduction center including: breeding and semen collection, on site ICSI lab, ET, and foal watch.
