Animal Imaging is a veterinarian owned, outpatient imaging center in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. We offer high-quality diagnostic imaging services and interpretations for our referring veterinarians. At Animal Imaging, we strive to provide exceptional care and an empathetic experience for clients, patients and referring veterinarians, while providing the information needed to accurately make diagnoses and improve the quality of life in our companion animal and equine patients. We are leading the way in veterinary diagnostic imaging.
Animal Imaging offers a Imaging Fellowship/Internship opportunity that gives doctors exposure to multiple modalities of diagnostic imaging including MRI, CT, nuclear scintigraphy, ultrasonography, and radiography as well as equine anesthesia, sports medicine, and lameness diagnosis. The core objective of our Imaging Fellowship/Internship is to prepare the doctor for a radiology or sports medicine residency or other advanced training.
Imaging Fellowship/Internship Requirements: Open to licensed Doctors of Veterinary Medicine in good standing and are able to obtain a license in the state of Texas. Candidates should be preparing for residency programs in radiology, sports medicine or another advanced specialty. Candidates that have completed an internship or worked in an equine sports medicine practice are preferred.
The doctors are offered hands-on experience with our equine patients and doctors during their appointments. They will develop skills in veterinary radiology such as image acquisition, interpretation, anesthesia, and much more.
To apply for our fellowship/internship, please send your letter of intent and resume to swillenbrock@animalimaging.net.
