Petaluma Equine is seeking a veterinary intern for a 12 month position beginning June of 2023.  We are an equine only, four DVM practice with a focus on sports medicine, surgery, and imaging.  In brief, the hospital is equipped with ultrasound, digital radiography, standing MRI, and full surgical suite (arthroscopy, laparoscopy, soft tissue).  The position is intended to provide further training for a candidate seeking a residency or simply additional exposure to specialty practice (DACVS-LA, DACVR).  The position would include primary emergency duty as well as ambulatory, and hospital case management.  We have a full service rehabilitation facility including underwater treadmill and spa on site.  A two bedroom apartment is included for intern housing.

Graduate of an AVMA accredited veterinary school, California veterinary license eligible.
