Our mixed animal (private practice) clinic in rural South Dakota is 50% bovine, 25% equine and 25% companion animal. Clients come from 45 miles away seeking services at our new facility, built in 2014. The main building includes large waiting rooms in reception area, exam rooms, DR lab, surgery suite, dental station, calf hospital and K-9 boarding kennels lab area as well as Coggins lab. Large animal area includes an OB chute and tilt table. The equine barn has an exam area as well as a surgery suite, stalls for mares and round pen for stallions. Mobile hydraulic chutes are used for herd work in the country.
Practicing quality veterinary care and services make us a referral clinic for smaller clinics sending orthopedic surgery for small animals, and cryptorchid surgery as well as equine and K-9 reproduction. Nearby sale barn keeps us busy with ultrasounds on sheep and goats, herd work and inspection of livestock at weekly sales. We are a federal credited Coggins labs processing nearly 1000 Coggins tests per year.
Experienced and trained team members make this clinic run smooth allowing veterinarians plenty of hands-on support. The community is family-orientated with an outstanding school system. Recreational opportunities include rodeo, hunting, fishing, camping and boating on the nearby Missouri River. This area of South Dakota is a popular destination for pheasant hunters.
Present owner has owned clinic since 2001 so is seeking someone to trust the clinic's future with by continuing the same good client relationships as he has established here in the past 20 years. Our clients are great people to work with and we value their trust in our care of their animals.
