We are looking to add an enthusiastic, dedicated, collaborative, primarily ambulatory, equine veterinarian to our amazing team of equine practitioners at Northwest Veterinary Clinic of Mount Vernon in Mount Vernon, WA. Our leadership team is young and vibrant and you will have the support and collaboration of 5 experienced equine veterinarians!
This a primarily ambulatory position that comes with a new, fully stocked truck. We have an extensive complement of diagnostic equipment available which includes digital radiographs (fixed and 3 portable units), 2 GE digital ultrasounds, endoscopy (including a 3 meter gastroscope), your own dental equipment, ProStride, in-house Abaxis lab equipment, and twice daily pickups for Antech. In addition, we have a gorgeous full surgical suite, recovery stall, an 8-stall hospital facility with outdoor pens and fenced lunging area, and a mare motel. On-call responsibilities are shared equally between all 5 equine veterinarians. Mentorship is available for newer graduates.
Mount Vernon is in beautiful Northwest Washington, 60 miles north of Seattle. Our location offers accessibility to hiking, snow skiing, water sports, big city life, and so much more all within doable daily travels.
