South Carolina Equine Associates, located in Camden, is looking for an Associate Veterinarian. This busy six-doctor equine ambulatory practice is equipped with digital radiography units, ultrasounds, shockwave, endoscopy, and gastroscopy and has two associates certified in acupuncture and chiropractic.  The practice sees a wide variety of horses. The patients are a mix of sport horses, including flat and steeplechase racehorses, show horses, fox hunters, and backyard horses, to name a few.  On-call duties are limited to one weeknight per week and one weekend a month, with rotating holiday duties.    

Camden is located about thirty minutes east of the state capital, just a few hours away from the low country beaches and the Blue Ridge Mountains.  Known as the ‘Steeplechase Capital of the World’ and ‘South Carolina’s Oldest Inland City’, Camden is rich in history and equestrian events, so there are plenty of activities to enjoy on your time off!

Applicants must be in completion in good standing of a DVM or VMD degree at an accredited university and have a veterinary license and accreditation to practice in the state of South Carolina.
