Our facility offers a treatment area with stocks and stalls for in clinic cases. There is a well stocked pharmacy and plans for the addition of office space and a conference area. The practice sees approximately 40 percent in clinic appointments, 60 percent in the field. We hope to shake up current equine culture norms with an emphasis on family, personal well being and creating a sustainable future for the equine veterinarian. Special interests, continuing education and collaboration are encouraged and valued. The ideal candidate would be an enthusiastic, team player who is driven to grow the practice while providing compassionate care.
Benefits include a 4 day work week with flexibility in scheduling and shared every other week emergency on call. A take home truck with fully stocked vet box will be provided as well as an IPad and phone. All are welcome to apply and salary is commensurate with experience. Preference given to those having completed an Equine Internship. New grades with a strong equine focus will also be considered and given plenty of time for mentorship at their own pace.
Our goal is to provide a supportive, collaborative and fun work environment!
