Are you athletic? Do you love working outdoors on the best show jumpers in the industry? Sports medicine associate position available for motivated, enthusiastic assistant veterinarian looking to work on high end jumpers and dressage horses. I enjoy teaching, so if you are interested in learning the nuances of lameness, ultrasound, and the advanced side of sports medicine, then this is a great opportunity. You are a hard-worker with initiative, who seeks variety in the daily schedule and wants to be on the cutting edge of the sport. You will learn advanced techniques in xray, ultrasound (injections of the hip, neck, SI and arterial stem cell perfusions), shockwave, using Prostride, A2M, PRP, and IRAP. This is a two location job: most of the year is spent working in the Northeast: NY, NJ, CT (mid-April to December). During the winter, residency in Wellington FL for the Winter Equestrian Festival. We will be in FL from Dec until mid April. The sunshine is amazing for working outside on horses. Skip the cold with us!
