Are you eager to practice the type of veterinary medicine you’ve always dreamed of? We are looking for a veterinarian that is willing to be part of a great, and growing, team that focuses on what is best for the patient.
We are a mixed animal clinic just outside of Lancaster, Ohio. Our prime location is situated between Columbus and Hocking Hills, offering either big city convenience and entertainment or the tranquility and adventure of Hocking Hills, both within a thirty minute drive. Boredom isn’t an option with the variety of animals and cases the clinic sees, as well as the opportunities for entertainment during your leisure time. Sick visits, surgery, farm visits, and our haul-in facility that includes an equine surgery suite all provide for a lively work environment that will ensure no two work days will be the same.
Candidates should be interested in joining a team-environment to utilize all of their medical and surgical skills. We encourage all of our staff to utilize the skills they have worked so hard to learn and we strive to develop them alongside an experienced staff and doctors. Our ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about animals and the puzzles that they sometimes present. The ideal candidate should also be eager to utilize and develop surgical skills with ample opportunity due to our cooperation with multiple county humane societies in the area.
The clinic recently underwent renovations to expand to 5 exam rooms, a large treatment area and surgical suite. The clinic currently has multiple large animal hospitalization stalls available, as well as 2 fully-stocked Bowie units for on-farm work ups and a portable chute.
In-clinic diagnostics include IDEXX bloodwork machines, SediVue urinalysis, ultrasound (for both large and small patients), and digital radiography (including portable and dental radiography). We also offer laser therapy.
We offer a very competitive salary (including a sign-on bonus) as well as a benefit package.
