The practice:

• Located 30 miles south of Boston and 20 miles north of Cape Cod
• Known in the community to provide the highest level of medical and surgical care. 
• 5 doctors (plus interns), 2 CVTs, 3 veterinary assistants, 3 front desk, and 2 back office personnel who enjoy working in a positive service-oriented environment. 
• Clients range from high end sport horse and racetrack clientele, to pleasure horse, breeding stock, miniatures, and 4H/Pony clubbers. 
• 5 Fully equipped vehicles - DR machines, Ultrasound, shockwave, PRP, Arthramid, conventional therapies
• Full-service hospital including surgery, gastroscopy, a complete lab and a standing MRI.

The position:

• FT or PT emergency clinician. 
• 2 or 3 nights each week and every other weekend. 
• The day starts at noon to pick up any of that day’s urgent calls and then covers ER calls overnight.   
• Doctor rounds are held every Monday morning, and a practice staff meeting is held one morning each month. 
• Saturday morning and afternoon appointments for wellness or follow-ups are also a potential for this position.

• Massachusetts and RI veterinary licenses will be necessary
• Valid drivers license
• at least 2 years of clinical experience or a completed internship
• a sense of humor
