Full Time Associate Mixed-Animal Veterinarian position in Menomonie, WI at Country Doctors Veterinary Service.
Country Doctors Veterinary Service is a 3.5 doctor mixed animal practice currently serving 50% Companion Animals, 12% Equine, and 38% Dairy. Our objective is to obtain a progressive, enthusiastic veterinarian interested in general medicine and surgery across species. The prospective applicant must enjoy people and have a willingness to develop their own areas of professional curiosity. Working in a truly mixed practice makes for an exciting and challenging environment, and we are looking for another veterinarian to share in our passion!
New graduates are welcome! The three senior members of our veterinary staff have specific interests in either Dairy, Equine or Companion Animals and are willing to mentor to your interests. Financial support for CE is provided. Our current experienced team consists of 2 technicians, 3 receptionists and a practice manager which allows veterinarians to focus on doctor responsibilities.
Our 5,400sq ft. clinic was built in 1995 and a 2,400sq ft. heated equine barn addition was completed in 2005. Equipment includes portable digital xray, power equine dental floats, CuttingEdge surgical laser, High Speed Dental Cart with digital dental x-ray, 3 portable ultrasounds, and a full in-house Idexx Vet Lab. We provide medical insurance with 50% cost share, 401K with matching contribution, paid vacation/sick days, dues for the WVMA and the AVMA, AABP, or AAEP and other benefits. Practice vehicle is provided. Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications for the position. We are located 1 hour east of St Paul, MN on the I-94 business corridor. The area offers great outdoor recreational opportunities while being convenient to major shopping and cultural venues!
DVM/VMD degree or equivalent required from an AVMA accredited University.
