This internship is directed toward an ambitious individual who seeks a gradual introduction to high quality equine practice. A diligent intern should expect to become proficient in all aspects of equine ambulatory practice by completion of term. The internship will begin with maximal contact time with senior staff, providing complete ambulatory care to the sport horse, thoroughbred, and breeding farms of central Virginia. Direct supervision is for a period of 6-9 months.
