Uxbridge Equine Veterinary Services has an opportunity available for a full-time Equine veterinarian to join our growing team.  Located in Uxbridge, Ontario an hour northeast of Toronto, Uxbridge Equine is a well-established equine veterinary practice offering a wide range of veterinary services geared towards both top athletes as well as the equally loved backyard family pets.  We take great pride in developing strong veterinary-client-patient relationships and have mobile HVMS software, wireless digital radiography, digital ultrasonography, endoscopy, thermography and are very well equipped for dentistry.   A fully equipped practice vehicle and technician are  provided.  Provincial licensure for those without NAVLE is possible with adequate experience and continuing educations.   Interested applicants can submit a cover letter, resume and references to admin@uxbridgequine.com.

• Must have completed a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

DVMs who did not graduate from an AVMA accredited program and who do not have NAVLE may be granted a restricted license limited to equine practice in Ontario.  Thought you couldn't practice in Ontario because you don't have NAVLE - think again.  Contact Uxbridge Equine for more information if you believe this may be applicable to you.

• General skills with a special interest (reproduction, performance horse work, dentistry, ophthalmology, podiatry, rehabilitation, acupuncture) or Board Certification (ACVS, ACVO, ACVIM, AVDC, ACVSMR)
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
• Must be fully licensed to drive in Ontario
