Looking for a NON-private practice setting? Very little overnight and holiday vet work. Navajo Technical University Veterinary Teaching Hospital is seeking veterinarians! We are in a veterinary shortage area and candidates may qualify for the United States Department of Agriculture National Institutes of Food and Agriculture Veterinary Medicine Loan Repayment Program (VMLRP).
Veterinarians will teach veterinary technology and lower level animal science courses and labs, provide veterinary services and assist with community outreach on the Navajo Reservation and surrounding area. Located in rural Crownpoint, NM, in the beautiful Four Corners region with access to skiing, camping, biking, hiking, running trails, fly fishing, river rafting, and more.
Our veterinary technology program is an AVMA-accredited two-year Associate's of Applied Science program. Our animal science program is a baccalaureate degree program.
Institution does not guarantee acceptance for the VMLRP (visit https://nifa.usda.gov/vmlrp-shortage-situations for more information). Full-time professional salaried position with paid sick leave and paid vacation, inexpensive family medical / dental / vision insurance, retirement 401K, vet license / AVMA membership / PLIT / CE coverage, and other available benefits. Accepting new graduates with no teaching experience. Low cost of living. Call Dr. Daye at 505-387-7410 or email@example.com for more information.
State Licensed veterinarian will teach veterinary technology and lower level animal science courses and labs, provide mixed animal veterinary services, and assist with veterinary community service work. Must graduate from an AVMA-accredited vet school or pass the certification process through AVMA if graduated from a non-AVMA-accredited vet school. Call or email for additional information.
