INTERN VETERINARIANEnergy Equine Veterinary Services is actively looking to add recent veterinary school graduates with a passion for equine sports medicine to our team.
Energy Equine Veterinary Services boasts two beautiful facilities in Airdrie and Dewinton serving the greater Calgary area and Western Canada. Our practice is built around the success of the equine athlete. We currently have five veterinarians, and our company believes in customer service and support. Our veterinarians, technicians, veterinary assistants and administrative staff all ensure an unparalleled level of customer service the moment a client walks through the door.
Our practice has a balance of in-clinic and ambulatory services, we offer routine care, traditional therapies, regenerative therapies, rehabilitation and imaging services, amongst many other services. Interns are under direct supervision and mentorship for 8-12 months and are required to be on-call for emergency once per month, and once per week. Our clinic is a day-practice, with no overnight hospitalizations, and as such, our on-call emergency load is light and interns are provided support and mentorship even on emergency. Our goal as a practice is to hire first year veterinarians that want to stay within our practice and grow with us. Energy Equine offers:
