Rhinebeck Equine is looking for a versatile, enthusiastic, conscientious, ambulatory veterinarian who wants to work in an environment that encourages growth and development of additional skills. An interest in sports medicine, chiropractic, acupuncture and/or emergency medicine is a plus, but, more importantly, applicants must have a calm attitude when dealing with emergencies, excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, a joy in teamwork, and a sense of community. Emergency on-call will be required and shared with current clinicians, but, if desired, flexibility in regular hours will be considered. Our goal is to provide a work/life balance to help keep people happy and healthy. Contributing to teaching our five interns is expected and a fun way to be a part of our community, pass on your knowledge and skills, and enable us all to benefit from the support they are able to provide. A fully equipped truck, ample support staff, and a competitive compensation/benefits package will be provided. The beautiful Hudson Valley offers opportunities for four seasons of outdoor recreation and abundant cultural activities along with local farms, breweries, distilleries, wineries, and outstanding restaurants.
