Performance Equine Vets is currently seeking to add an another veterinarian to our team. The practice provides comprehensive care to a diverse clientele of western performance, hunter/jumpers, dressage, polo, driving, eventing, pleasure and trail horses. We offer ambulatory, out-patient care, hospitalization, and 24-hour emergency services. Our practice is known for its high quality care, professionalism, and team atmosphere.
The successful candidate must possess a solid knowledge of equine veterinary medicine, be highly motivated, and be willing to work as part of a team. The position will involve ambulatory and some hospital work. The candidate will be expected to perform in a team environment. Patient care is the most important aspect of our philosophy. We are seeking a candidate with attention to detail, compassion for the animals, and skills to perform advanced medicine. Mentorship and training will be provided to young candidates. It is important to us that our Veterinarians achieve a preferred quality of life balance. Limited small animal work is available if candidate is interested. Traveling to horse shows with our mobile service unit is also available if candidate is interested.
A comprehensive package will be offered based on experience. All veterinarians are provided a well-stocked practice vehicle.
