We are a 3 doctor practice, located in the suburban Chicago area. We are looking for someone who is passionate, enthusiastic and compassionate about equine care! Our practice provides a high level of care for the area. We are often referred more complex cases by neighboring veterinarians and work frequently with Universities and local hospitals. Currently, we are an all ambulatory practice, but we are in the process of building a beautiful new haul in facility with indoor arena and treatment area. There will be a separate small animal clinic on the premise as well. If you have any interest in small animal medicine, that would be a bonus.
We are 95% equine, 5% (growing) small animal, pot-bellied pigs, goats, etc. Our practice philosophy is to provide compassionate care, unrivaled service and cutting edge veterinary medicine to our patients and client. We promote a "team effort" environment though out all aspects of the practice and value a good work life balance. Our clientele is comprised mostly of english sport horses including dressage, jumper, hunters, and saddlebreds. We also serve western performance horses and trail-riders. We provide routine care, dentistry, sports medicine services, opthalmology, and reproductive services. We offer stem cell therapy, PRP, Prostride, IRAP, embryo transfer, ultrasound-guided injections, chiropractic, etc. We have 3 fully equipped state-of-the-art ambulatory vehicles. We have digital medical records, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy 1M and 3M, shockwave, K-laser and power floats. A technician accompanies veterinarians on appointments.
All applicants are welcome. We are excited to provide mentorship with any applicant and welcome an internship position. Internship position salary is $35,000.
