John R. Steele & Associates is looking to hire a new or recent graduate with an interest in Equine Sports Medicine for a one year internship. Our practice focus includes jumper, dressage, and show hunter disciplines. The position will provide the opportunity to gain experience in lameness evaluation, the diagnostic process, treatment, therapies and purchase examination. The position offers the opportunity work on fine tuning skills in examination, obtaining and interpreting ultrasound and radiograph images, and also participate in treatments including regenerative medicine therapies. Candidates must be willing to learn and work independently while also being a team player. Must be able to communicate effectively and thrive in a fast paced environment.
