The Dubai Equine Hospital is looking to fill one additional internship position for the 2021-22 season.  This intern will join the four interns already selected for the position.   The Dubai Equine Hospital is a full-service clinic serving the entire United Arab Emirates.  The clinic is fully equipped for all diagnostic and therapeutic requirements.  The clinic is staffed with one full time ACVIM clinician and four board certified surgeons.  Interns rotate through the medicine, surgery, and after-hours services throughout the year.  The position offers veterinarians a unique opportunity to live in an area immersed in equine sports medicine and see some of the most intensive cases managed anywhere.  If  you are interested in the position please feel free to contact Tom Yarbrough, DVM, ACVS at globalhorse@yahoo.com.

Interns are expected to help receive and workup all incoming patients and provide daily care of all hospitalized horses. 

About Dubai Equine Hospital
The Dubai Equine Hospital is the premier equine referral center in the United Arab Emirates. The clinic has 4 boarded surgeons, one boarded medicine clinician, and a full compliment of support technicians. The clinic is fully equipped with state of the art diagnostic and therapeutic equipment. We perform between 350 and 400 colics a year, 75-100 fractures and a full array of other surgeries. The medicine case load is an extremely challenging mix of neonatal and performance horse abnormalities. Due to the economy of the area the highest quality care is allowable in the area providing the staff with the ability to always reach for the best diagnostic and treatment options with limited concern towards the economics of the situation.
