Rural Veterinary Practice, Equine
Oregon State University, Carlson College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking applicants for a full-time Instructor of Rural Veterinary Practice, Equine Emphasis, with an earliest start date of July 1, 2021. The emphasis is on the clinical management of equine primary care cases and concurrent clinical training of veterinary students. Shared afterhours duties involving all large animal species and some other service and instructional duties are also included. Required: DVM or equivalent degree and and eligibility for veterinary licensure in Oregon. Must possess 2 years of clinical experience in equine medicine, with emphasis on dentistry, lameness and/or primary care. Must demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills and a commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity. Preference may be given to those with Veterinary licensure in Oregon, eligibility for accreditation by the National Veterinary Accreditation Program, experience in research related to clinical medicine and experience with ruminants, camelids and swine.
