Seeking small or mixed animal practitioner, 60% small animal, opportunity for exotic, 40% large animal ambulatory service with a progressive client-educating team where compassion and teamwork are a must. Offering a full time position available with extensive benefit package in a new 7000 sq ft facility.
Species Percentages
Small Animal – 60%
Dairy – 25%
Equine – 10%
Small Ruminant – 5%
Facilities – Newly remodeled clinic full of most any equipment needed to practice high quality medicine, vehicle fully equipped to practice
Current Personnel – 4 mixed animal veterinarians, 2 receptionists, 4 certified technicians, 5 veterinary assistants, practice manager and hospital administrator
Practice strengths and emphasis of the business – Great small animal reputation, client education and equipment; Dairy - smaller herd sizes (40-500 cows), in-house microbiology lab, milking systems analysis, herd health; Equine - trail and back yard; digital radiography, ultrasound, laser, and acupuncture for all species
Practice Area – South Central Pennsylvania – about 1 ½ hours from Baltimore and Washington DC and 2 ½ hours from Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, hundreds of miles of hiking and horseback riding trails
