ASSOCIATE VETERINARIAN WANTED

Mill Valley Veterinary Clinic is a mixed animal veterinary practice located in Belchertown, Massachusetts (Fifteen minutes from Amherst, 45 minutes from Worcester). Mill Valley Veterinary Clinic is a busy three-doctor practice that is looking for a mixed animal practioneer to join our team. Mill Valley combines small town charm with big technology. Small animal clients are predominantly dogs and cats; large animal clients are predominantly equine with a growing population of bovine and small ruminants. Mill Valley Veterinary Clinic offers its clients and doctors the following: 

- Digital radiography (including dental) for small and large animals

- In house lab work – Idexx and Antech machines

- Fiber optic and Co2 laser

- Digital records - avimark 

- Lameness locator

- Acupuncture

-  Aquatic treadmill (for small animal clients), 

- Class 4 therapeutic laser

- Stance analysis (small animal clients)

- GameReady

- Sidekick/mobile records

- Ultrasound

-Gastroscope

- An experienced team of veterinary technicians

Ideal candidate works well in a group and is willing to be part of a team. We offer rotating weekends and holidays of emergency coverage for large and small animal. Mill Valley Veterinary Clinic is always looking to expand our services and willing to help doctors further their interests and skills within veterinary medicine.  Veterinarians will be provided with work truck with vet box, cell phone and laptop computer.  Candidates should be comfortable performing routine soft tissue surgeries and have a strong sense of community.
