Seeking Associate Veterinarian

to join mixed animal practice in Central Illinois

Looking for an enthusiastic veterinarian to join our team. All applicants considered, not limited to large animal experience. Cass Veterinary Services is a busy three clinic practice with sites in Virginia, Jacksonville, and Ashland IL. Primarily small animal with 10-15% beef, equine, and swine. We are a growing practice with triple digit annual growth.

Our practice philosophy is to provide quality service at an affordable price while creating a rewarding and pleasant workplace environment. We run a one hour walk-in clinic daily for which we provide discounted exam fees. We work with clients to develop a health plan that fits their budget. Additionally, we work with local pet rescue groups and provide discounted services to aid them in their mission. 

Cass Veterinary Services' offers a wide range of medical and surgical therapies. We use AviMark software, Heska in-house blood machines (Chem/CBC/Element), digital x-rays, ultrasound, and other current medical equipment. We have a haul-in facility, and brand new hydraulic cattle chute for large animal work, equine stocks, and equine dental equipment.

Springfield, the state capital, is located 30 minutes away. Jim Edgar Panther Creek wildlife preserve offers trails, camping and hunting and is located only a few minutes away. We encourage a supportive environment, great mentoring, with staff group activities that nurture a great light hearted, and fun, family feel to the practice. The workload makes it a great place to learn, in all areas of veterinary medicine. If you are looking for a small town rural setting, close to a larger city, this may be the practice for you.
