Large Animal Emergency Position – Immediate Availability
Oregon State University, College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking applicants for a full-time, Instructor of Large Animal Emergency Medicine and Surgery, with an earliest start date of December 15th, 2020. The emphasis is management of after-hours cases, including their medical and surgical management, and oversight and training of veterinary students and house officers assigned to after-hours duty. Required: DVM or equivalent degree and completion of an ACVS-certified residency. Must possess equine surgical experience and training in emergency evaluation and treatment of surgical and medical cases. Must also have excellent patient care and communication skills and a demonstrable commitment to promoting and enhancing inclusion and diversity. Preference may be given to those with ACVS certification, experience in research and teaching, or experience with ruminants, pigs or camelids. Final year residents are welcome to apply and dedicated time for board preparation can be made available.
