Candidates need a great passion for equine medicine, surgery and reproduction and should be more than comfortable and competent with all aspects of equine practice - preventative and emergency medicine, dentistry, pre-purchase and lameness exams. Abilities in chiropractic, acupuncture, rehabilitation and ultrasonography will not be wasted. Practice vehicle and technician available. As needed and requested, guidance is readily available.
Full health care is provided at no cost to provincial residents. General and liability insurance coverage is provided. Continuing education funds are available. Work scheduling can be creative and dynamic to best suit changes in the veterinarian's and practice's needs.
