Job Description- Large Animal Ambulatory Practice covering 100-mile radius in the Pee Dee Region of South Carolina. Services offered included: internal medicine, surgery, herd health, preventative care/general practice, dentistry, and theriogenology. Species served include: bovine (beef and dairy), small ruminant (goats and sheep), swine (production and pet), avian (chickens, turkeys, ducks, and parrots), equine, camelids (camels, llamas, and alpacas), and exotic/zoological animals (monkeys, zebras, elephants, tigers/lions, kangaroos, reptiles, etc). Vettersoftware.com is the cloud-based veterinary practice program. The following diagnostics are offered ultrasound, x-ray, chute side and reference laboratory bloodwork options, and microscopic evaluation.
Workdays- Monday-Friday: 9am-5pm with general emergencies until 8pm and established client emergencies 24 hours, Saturday 9am-12:30pm with general emergencies until 5pm and established client emergencies 24 hours, and Sunday established client emergencies 24 hours only. Rotating weekend duties with 2-3 days off on rotating weeks.
