Kanab Veterinary Hospital is a full-service clinic and treats both small and large animals. The hospital includes three exam rooms, a surgical suite, a newly renovated treatment room, a radiology suite, an on-site grooming salon, and will soon include a boarding facility!
KVH is dedicated to offering compassionate care through inpatient/outpatient procedures, wellness plans, and client education. Diagnostic tools include Min Xray model with wireless plate, Idexx In-House laboratory equipment, Midmark dental machine, ultrasound, and Cornerstone software.

This position requires on call weekends or evening emergencies rotated between doctors. Must be a compassionate team player with excellent interpersonal skills, great medical skills and the confidence to work independently.
Office Hours are 8am-5pm Monday - Friday. On-Call for emergencies after hours and weekends will be shared between the doctors on staff. During a typical week the DVM will have preventative medicine appointments, surgeries, injury/sick appointments, dental cleanings, and large animal calls.
Must be confident in performing routine surgeries, dental work, and basic appointments. Training on the job is available for new graduates, but must be willing to learn and actively tackle new skills. Must be willing to learn and utilize the practice management system.
Patient charts must be updated daily, clients promptly cared for and communicated with, and staff treated respectfully. Charges must be entered for all procedures completed, and payment collected at time of service. (Staff are able to assist with this when during business hours.)
