SoCal Equine Hospital is currently seeking to fill an associate veterinarian position on our team.
We are looking for an energetic motivate individual who would like to make amazing Southern California their home. SoCal Equine Hospital is a multiple DVM practice located in Norco, CA, also known as “Horse Town USA.” We are a full-service equine hospital with surgical, medical, and diagnostic capabilities as well as an ambulatory practice. The office is open six days a week with 24/7 on-call services. Norco California is a densely populated equine area with enormous potential. We have a large client base and are adding new clients daily as we provide quality service to both our community and referring veterinarians.
Our Ideal Candidate:
You must have excellent communication, client service skills, and enjoy working in a collaborative team-based environment. Be someone who has a desire to perform all aspects of equine veterinarian care, ambulatory duties, along with serving patients in the hospital. The position has shared emergency call rotation as we provide 24/7 services. You must have a great attitude and willing to work. We would like you to have at least one year’s experience, but new grads are welcome to apply. Compensation is based on experience. We would ideally like someone looking for long term employment and who may be interested future partnership.

About SoCal Equine Hospital:
SoCal Equine Hospital currently resides in a 16,000 square foot facility built in 2016. We have 2 surgery suits, 1 standing surgery room, 3 recovery rooms, 13 stalls and 4 outside pens. Our equipment list includes, but is not limited to, digital radiography, digital ultrasound, lameness locator, and endoscope. We plan to add MRI and CT capabilities in the near future. We routinely perform the following surgeries: Colic, wound reconstruction, fracture repair, respiratory tract, arthroscopic, laparoscopic, laser as well as others. Our team of veterinarians and support staff serve approximately 2000-2500 cases yearly and offer 24/hour emergency services every day. Our goal is to expand the offerings of the hospital while maintaining ambulatory services to our current and future clientele.
Must have a current license in California OR be eligible to take the California License.
Have a valid California driver license and a clean driving record.
Ability to pass a background check.
