Philosophy of Internship: Our goal is to provide an intern with a well-rounded experience, using a hands-on approach. Mentoring is focused not only on clinical skills but also on client communication. Upon completion of the internship, candidates should be proficient in most aspects of equine medicine.
Internship Duties: During the day, the intern will spend an equal amount of time with all of the doctors. The intern may be expected to address daytime emergencies as needed, perform anesthesia, assist with surgeries, and in the care of hospitalized/in -house patients.

Prerequisite Application Process: DVM (or equivalent) from an accredited veterinary school; Successful completion of the NAVLE; Curriculum Vitae; Letter of Intent; Transcript; 3 letters of recommendation; 1 week externship preferred.
