Becker College School of Animal Studies and Natural Sciences is currently accepting applications for adjunct teaching assignments in our Equine Studies program. This job posting is not for a specific assignment and successful candidates may be assigned to teach one or more sections of the following: Equine Anatomy and Physiology, Equine Nutrition, Equine Reproduction and Breeding Management and Equine Farm and Stable Management.
Becker College is located in Worcester, MA with a sister campus in Leicester, MA, where the School of Animal Studies is located. An affiliated equestrian facility is located in Paxton, MA. The College offers a four-year bachelor of science in the following disciplines: Pre-veterinary Medicine, Equine Studies and Veterinary Technology. Becker College also offers two associate of science degree programs in animal care and veterinary technology. Both veterinary technology programs are accredited by the AVMA. Becker College recently added 4 Agile Dual Degree programs that allow students an opportunity to incorporate working with animals into other exciting career paths including business, mental health counseling, criminal justice and forensics.
Appropriate candidates must possess at minimum a B.S. in Animal Science, Equine Studies or related discipline, M.S. or Ph.D. /D.V.M. preferred. Knowledge of one of the listed disciplines through either graduate work and/or career experience required. Previous teaching experience is a plus.
