The Colorado Equine Clinic and the Small Animal Clinic at CEC are collaborative privately-owned businesses that are accepting applications for a Client Services Representative (CSR). The CSR’s job would be to provide excellent customer services to our clients while fulfilling our mission statement--“To provide the highest quality of veterinary medicine while treating our patients with compassionate care and offering people respect, integrity and understanding.” We are an established equine practice that has been in our current location for over 25 years and we have a brand-new small animal clinic that opened in August 2019. We are looking to hire an experienced and motivated CSR that will help improve our client’s experience with our clinic and improve our quality of care for our patients. This is a great opportunity to help develop the new small animal clinic from the ground up while maintaining and improving the equine clinic.
Our ideal candidate would be:
This position would be pivotal to the clinic’s success. Your ability to listen to and communicate with clients, animals, and to speak with the client with confidence will result in client satisfaction, continued visits to our clinic, and trust in us as we treat and care for their pets.
Our staff are friendly, fun and respectful of one another. No two days are ever exactly the same. We enjoy animals, people and a fast-paced work environment. We try to support each other and maintain flexibility in all situations. Being a veterinary practice, emergencies do occur with our patients often causing plans and schedules to require immediate adjustment. Patience and flexibility when working with one another and with these situations is a must. If you have animal knowledge, office experience, work well independently, communicate well, have patience and flexibility with constantly changing schedules then we would like to hear from you!
We are a non-corporate, locally owned business situated on 35 acres in a prime location that has endless potential and opportunity for growth. We have a full-service general practice clinic focused on providing advanced, compassionate and personalized care for your cats and dogs. We have been an established veterinary practice in the Roxborough/Littleton area for over 25 years, providing high quality care to horses. We hope to take the personalized, relationship-driven style of medicine that we have developed over the years and provide the same services for our small animal clients. This means that our clients will be a part of our practice and that we will gladly spend the time to get to know them and their pet, to discuss their questions and concerns, and to provide the veterinary-client-patient relationship that often gets lost in the hustle and bustle of corporate medicine. We believe in excellent work and compassionate care, as almost every veterinary practice does; however, that is not what sets us apart. We focus on the relationships we have with our clients and their pets. We help people by helping their pets. We exemplify this through the time we take. Our appointments are a little longer than most clinics, we see fewer patients in the day so that everyone can get our full attention and so every client can ask questions and get answers. We believe veterinary medicine is a partnership between the veterinarian and the animal owner. It is our job to advise, educate, and provide expert services and treatments. Helping our clients understand what, why and how we are helping their pet so that they can make informed decisions, so they can provide the best at-home treatment and so that they can help their pet live a longer, happier life.
If you are interested in working at a clinic that practices a high quality of medicine, that offers advanced therapies, and that has the culture and mentality of a small, family-owned business, then we would love to have you become a part of our team so that we can help pets lead healthier lives!
Our facility provides:
Just to name a few!
We are located at the base of the foothills in southwest Littleton Colorado directly south of Chatfield State Park. We are only 30 minutes from downtown Denver and only an hour from the mountains making it an ideal location for people to come to our facility.
The culture of our business is TEAMWORK with the purpose of solving the client’s questions and the patient’s needs. The decisions we make for patient care as well as our business decisions are made with consensus incorporating our positive attitudes with the value, “For the good of the whole.” At our clinic our staff come first because we know that a happy staff that values their work will allow us to treat more pets and to treat them better. At our clinic there is room for individuality. If you have a special aspect of veterinary medicine that you like we can help you learn more about it! We encourage continuing education in veterinary care, people skills, leadership or business management.
Every day our team reviews the client and patient needs for that day collaboratively so that we can be sure we are providing the best, most efficient care possible. We arrive early and stay late as needed but we also assure that our staff can take off personal days for life events or social activities.
Quality medical care is central to our practice and we take the extra time to assure that our procedures and medical records are accurate and thorough. We purchase the best, affordable technology. We have been recognized as progressive and holistic for the past 30 years with our Equine Clinic and we wish to continue this trend with our Small Animal Clinic. Our focus is to develop a relationship with each client by educating them, clearly providing information regarding their pet’s visit and being here for their emotional needs with their pet. We work to procure up to date equipment in order to provide the best patient care.
We encourage staff to advance both in their skills as a vet tech as well as their customer relation and people skills. Salaries are based on experience but staff that have the capability and desire to help, work as a team member, have an attitude of positivity, a desire to learn from others, the ability to grow, and the skills to perform their job well can advance far at our clinic. We offer paid vacations, continuing education, uniforms, a simple IRA (after 12 months of work), and association dues are just a few of the offered benefits.
