School of Veterinary Science
The School of Veterinary Science at Massey University, Palmerston North invites applications for a fixed-term position for up to nine months in 2020, in Equine Medicine. Our AVMA-accredited veterinary programme is world renowned, providing quality, research-led education. Our recently constructed equine hospital offers first-class facilities for service, teaching and research. In addition, staff have to participate in established programs of research in equine athletic development and performance, wastage, and other aspects of equine health and education.
In addition to our veterinary medicine and veterinary technology programmes, Massey University has a very strong equine science programme, and important affiliations with Equestrian Sports New Zealand.
You must possess a veterinary degree immediately registerable with the Veterinary Council of New Zealand. You will have a strong service focus, both towards clients of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital and towards our undergraduate and postgraduate students. In addition, you will show initiative, flexibility, and excellent communication and team skills.
