Oneida Veterinary Associates of Oneida, New York is in search of an enthusiastic, team oriented, and self-driven Veterinary Associate with excellent client communication and clinical skills. Our ideal candidate would be an equine veterinarian with, at minimum, one-year work experience. This experience ideally would be graduation from an Equine based Internship Program; but any experience will be considered. This position will offer a wide variety of veterinary experience with seasoned mentorship, administrative support staff, and very competitive pay and excellent benefit package. We are an ambulatory practice that is 100% equine. Our equine patients are comprised of a variety of backyard, pleasure, and performance horses of various disciplines, including minutes from a Standardbred Racetrack. We are dedicated to practicing high quality ambulatory medicine in a general practice that provides farm based medical, surgical, and emergency services. We offer preventative care, field surgical services, dentistry, podiatry, sports medicine/lameness, and ophthalmology. Practice vehicle, all veterinary supplies, malpractice/liability, most membership dues, CE stipend, will be provided. The practice is equipped with wireless digital radiography, ultrasound, shockwave, class 4 laser and endoscopy. An associate with a strong interest and training in lameness, sport horse medicine is ideal; with an interest in Acupuncture and Chiropractic Medicine. Practice ownership is an eventual possibility. Veterinary Degree and Eligibility for New York Veterinary License
At least 1-year post graduation work experience
