Do you like horses but not the equine practice lifestyle? Repro your interest? Interest in becoming boarded? 7 Dr AAHA mixed animal practice is looking for its own unicorn. In the perfect world, we would like an experienced associate who is comfortable with a pleasure/backyard equine clientele for routine health care and who enjoys companion animal medicine and surgery. What sets us apart is our incredible culture, our brilliant and talented team, and our commitment to learning and individual development. Rather than listing all our equipment, just know that the practice has the equipment and staff you need to practice high quality medicine. Boarded ABVP, ACT, and ACVIM doctors on staff and excited about mentoring anyone who wishes to pursue those interests.
We enjoy an amazing reputation in an affluent, semi-rural, centrally located, water-oriented community located in the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Located an hour drive to the Baltimore/Washington metro areas and the Atlantic beaches, it is a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family. Compensation is pro sal, base depending on experience, and other benefits include CE, dues, DEA and liability reimbursement, vacation, matching Simple IRA, health insurance stipend, and a student loan payback program. Sad to say, it isn’t all glitter and rainbows though - we still take emergencies for both large and small animals, and we work weekends - although that is shared and rotated among associates and with other practices.. We average 1-2 emergencies a month per dr. We are a fairly fast paced practice, so we are looking for experience.
Ownership interests? That’s possible too.
