Equine Medical Services is seeking an associate veterinarian to join our well-established active reproduction practice. Primary duties for this position would involve managing client mares and, depending on ability, assisting with procedures in the embryo transfer and ART programs. The practice currently produces about 500 embryo transfer pregnancies per year with roughly 1/3 from on-site ET, 1/3 from transported embryos and 1/3 from ICSI embryos. Equine Medical Services enjoys a good reputation, excellent clientele, and a diverse patient base. Facilities include 92 stalls, multiple exam areas, paddocks and exercise pens, and well-equipped semen, embryo, and ICSI labs. This is a new position and an opportunity to practice high quality reproductive medicine with an experienced and supportive team. Previous experience in assisted reproductive techniques is not required. The job will be primarily in the clinic but occasional farm visits may be required. Located in an active college town. Salary commensurate with abilities and experience. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org with inquiries.
