The Staff Veterinarian is responsible for animal health care issues at SRC and assists the Principal Investigator(s)/Study Director in the conduct of studies. They will participate in the collection of samples, tissue, and raw data; prepare test article for administration, and performs surgery and other medical procedures. The Staff Veterinarian I will supervise and participate in the diagnosis and treatment of sick animals, and may oversee quarantine and animal acquisition procedures.

Education Requirements: A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (D.V.M.) or equivalent.
Certification: A valid Missouri veterinary license and accreditation certificate is required to sign animal health papers. Otherwise, no license is required to perform the other veterinary duties at SRC.
