Veterinary Services is seeking to fill the National Veterinary Services Laboratories (NVSL) Director position at Ames, IA. NVSL is the reference and confirmatory laboratory for USDA. The NVSL Director is responsible for providing scientific and managerial leadership in planning, organizing, and conducting broad laboratory programs involving the diagnosis of diseases which threaten the nation’s livestock resources and can impact human health. NVSL has laboratories at Ames, Iowa, and at Plum Island, New York. The NVSL Director oversees the operational aspects of the National Animal Health Laboratory Network.
