Great Lakes Equine is an exclusively equine veterinary clinic providing routine and emergency care for approximately 2,000 horses within a 150 mile radius. An 11,000 square foot clinic and hospital with surgical suite provides an exceptional atmosphere for more advance procedures and overnight medical cases. We are a progressive practice offering dentistry, sport horse medicine, lameness and performance evaluations, high-quality internal medicine, reproductive services, wellness care, and alternative medicine.
We are looking for an associate with a passion for customer service and a desire to form long lasting relationships with clients and our practice. We value a work life balance and are committed to working hard and playing harder.
The practice boasts 4 veterinarians and an intern. 80% of the work is ambulatory while the rest is done in clinic. A superb support staff is in place to assist the doctor on the road and in the hospital. Vehicle and all equipment is provided and emergency work is split equally among the doctors. We see nearly every breed and discipline so doctors can satisfy their particular interests.
GLE offers digital radiography and ultrasound, shockwave, PRP, IRAP, Prostride, endoscopy and gastroscopy, powerfloat dentistry, mesotherapy, VSMT (veterinary spinal manipulation), acupuncture, podiatry, internal medicine and much more.
