The Department of Clinical Sciences and the Veterinary Health Center, College of Veterinary Medicine, Kansas State University, invites applications for a tenure-track or clinical-track assistant, associate or full professor of equine internal medicine. Applicants must hold a DVM or equivalent degree and a Diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine or eligible to obtain diplomate status at the time of appointment.
The successful candidate will provide didactic and clinical instruction in equine internal medicine for veterinary students, interns and residents. The successful candidate will be committed to maintaining a high quality equine clinical service, building caseload and providing excellent communication to VHC clients. Candidates will support the scholarly and academic missions of the department and VHC. The appointment percentage of clinical, teaching, and research components is negotiable depending on the professional goals of the candidate and the needs of the DCS/VHC. Salary will be commensurate with the applicant’s experience and qualifications. The start date is negotiable.
