The New York Racing Association, Inc. seeks a Chief Examining Veterinarian to assist with supervising the NYRA Veterinary Department. The Department includes the Examining Veterinarians, Lasix Veterinarians and Vet Assistants. The Chief Examining Veterinarian will help manage and perform daily operations namely: pre-race examinations, Lasix administration, out-of-competition and blood/gas sampling and on-track emergency duty; In addition, the Chief Examining Veterinarian will help to manage recording and reporting of pre-race exam findings, injury reports and death certificates.
