Bear Creek Veterinary Hospital is looking for veterinarians that can't say no to a challenge. We are seeking vets that work well under pressure. We want doctors that can't stand monotony - and who don't want the see the same old thing every day. We want a doctor that's searching for more than just a paycheck. It's an investment in your life, your patient's lives, a team that's also a family, a home, and a partnership. It's an opportunity to be part of something bigger than yourself.
We are willing to provide the right doctor with the foundation, mentorship, and camaraderie necessary to pursue your goals and individual dreams as well as further the potential of our practice. Small animal and large animal doctors are welcome, though we are specifically recruiting for at least one veterinarian that enjoys primarily working with small animals in clinic. We are the only practice within 50 miles that performs after hours services, and we will soon be expanding into offering 24-hour round-the-clock veterinary care for the surrounding counties. There is definitely room for a doctor that wants to specialize in critical-care after-hours work. We are also searching for a candidate with a love of surgery and an interest in orthopedics.
Our clinic is located in the Piedmont area of North Carolina, in Albemarle, only 30 minutes from the bustling metropolis of Charlotte, but firmly ensconced in the countryside. The people in the surrounding counties have blessed our clinic with more work than we can handle. Our first expansion in 2015 resulted in 100% growth of the client base. 2016 doubled those numbers again in only one year. We are growing fast, working hard, and continue to strive to be the best resource for our communities. We want partners that can help us live up to that potential.
If you are looking to make a move from out-of-state, we are located in a great area with a fantastic cost of living compared to larger metropolitan areas, and a huge variety of things to do from hiking and horseback in the Uwharrie mountains, to whitewater rafting in nearby Charlotte. Myrtle and NC beaches are only a couple hours away by car and the world is at your doorstep with Charlotte International Airport. You'll love it here and get to wherever you want from the sprawling pines and white oaks of the Tarheel state.
Buy-in partnership opportunities are available for the right person. In addition we provide full-service mobile field trucks for our in-home and in-farm appointments, new laptops for each doctor, new company mobile phones, uniforms, paid vacation, a yearly continuing-education fund for each doctor, high-tech computer and EMR systems, and more. We currently offer in-house diagnostics, digital radiography, ultrasound, cold laser therapy, and are constantly open to evolving to new services for the right candidate.
