Equine Services seeks candidates for our established internship program in the heart of the Bluegrass! http://www.equineserviceshospital.com/
Our one-year internships (starting post-graduation) have primary responsibility for our hospital and clinic patients' care and treatment (including foal-outs and newborn care), and as your skills, confidence, and experience grow, you will handle ambulatory calls for a variety of patient types.
Our practice includes Sports Medicine, featuring advanced sports medicine diagnostics (MRI, nuclear medicine, and video endoscopy) and treatment (surgical, stem cell, shockwave, and IRAP). Our Hospital and Diagnostic facility includes a fully equipped surgical surgical suite with 17-stall barn, multiple treatment rooms, and recovery rooms. We also provide Advanced Reproduction at our state-of-the-art reproduction center, including AI and ET lab, breeding shed and stallion station, 15-stall foal-out facility, and recipient herd.
We enjoy a diverse clientele of American Saddlebred, Morgan, Arabian, and Quarter Horse championship winning show barns, Saddlebred, Thoroughbred, and Standardbred breeding farms -- from the biggest draft horses to the littlest miniature horses, to donkeys, mules and the occasional zebra -- the Equidae family is our family!
