An equine veterinarian is required to join our ambulatory practice based in the beautiful Southern Highlands, NSW, approximately 1.5 hours south of Sydney.
The successful applicant must be experienced and have a strong interest in equine stud practice.
The role will primarily involve equine (thoroughbred) reproduction practice and medicine, as well as artificial breeding, routine treatments, preventative care, digital radiography, endoscopy and general horse ambulatory services.
There will be also opportunities to develop knowledge and skills in lameness diagnosis, performance and sport horse medicine.
The successful applicant will be capable of working independently, with ongoing support from our small team, as well as our partner practices Randwick Equine Centre & Illawarra Equine Centre.
Remuneration package will be dependent on qualifications and level of experience and include fully maintained motor vehicle, mobile phone, four weeks annual leave, one week study leave and percentage of afterhours fees. After hours will be on a shared basis.
