We are currently seeking a full-time mixed animal practitioner to join our busy 2 doctor practice located in the Southern Thumb region of Michigan. The position would be 50/50 small animal and equine. We do service some small ruminants and the ideal candidate would be open to the occasional duck, pig or chicken!
We would prefer a veterinarian with at least 1 year experience and some competence with routine small animal surgery. Our clinic offers integrative medicine such as Veterinary Spinal Manipulation Therapy and Acupuncture as well as a Class IV therapy laser. Our diagnostics include a Cuattro Slate 6 portable digital radiography, portable ultrasound, in house chemistry and CBC machine. We are excited to offer a brand new power float and a new small animal dental machine.
We believe in offering top notch medicine to our clients with comfortable friendly service. We employ 3 LVT's, an office manager and 2 receptionists. We all enjoy working together and having a friendly atmosphere where our team can enjoy their work as well as perform excellent quality medicine is our top priority.
Emergency is split equally between all vets and with a second veterinary service located to the south for an on-call schedule that includes one weekend a month and 1-2 days per week. A vehicle will be provided for farm calls and emergency work.
