Uinta Veterinary Hospital (UVH) in Southwest Wyoming is seeking a mixed animal associate veterinarian. Our practice is located in Fort Bridger, Wyoming near the beautiful Uinta Mountains. We are from a small community where the nearest veterinarians are within a 40 mile radius from our location. Living in a small valley it is important that the candidate seeking employment is willing to be involved in the community.
We are seeking a full-time veterinarian who is hardworking, compassionate, and has a passion for all types of animals. This candidate needs to be willing to work well with our current staff, veterinary students, clients, and community education programs. The candidate that is interested in this position needs to be willing to work with cow/calf operations, equine, livestock animals as well as small animal work. UVH has a large portion of large animal work in the Fall and in the Spring time due to regulatory services, preg checking, trich testing, semen testing, AI and embryo transfer work.
Our small animal side consists of preventative medicine, orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries from the local areas and referred from outside areas.

Our Hospital is open Monday-Saturday, 8:00a.m.-5:30p.m. and emergencies are 24 hours/ 7 days a week. The on-call responsibilities are shared between the doctors.
Ability to work on large and small animals

Have passed your NAVLE exam and are able to get licensed in the state of Wyoming and Utah
Ability to be on-call and available for call 24/7 a week with a rotating schedule
