Title: Resident Veterinarian

The Resident Veterinarian will oversee and manage all aspects of semen collection and processing. This will include efficiently managing the breeding shed schedules and evaluating/processing semen samples with the goal of serving all breeding requests with the best possible doses. The Resident Veterinarian will be responsible for the day-to-day veterinary requirements of the stallions, including general wellness, diagnostics, and building comprehensive treatment plans when needed.
Additionally, the Resident Veterinarian will be responsible for the care of the broodmare band, including all aspects of reproduction, general wellness, diagnostics, and treatment planning/procedures. The Resident Veterinarian will handle dystocia foalings, and will provide care and treatment for foals. The ideal candidate will be able to comfortably and confidently work closely with our current veterinary providers as well as the Owner and the Farm Manager to achieve our goals for pregnancy and foaling rates.
Minimum years of equine reproductive experience: 3-5 years
Minimum years of stallion management experience: 3+ years
