Job Description

Three Equine Veterinarian practice in need of a Licensed Veterinarian Technician to become part of a well trained and caring staff. The 6000 sq ft facility with surgical suite and separate Reproduction Facility provides quality care for equines, using the latest medical advancements, serving Southern Oregon and Northern California.

JOB DUTIES:
* Assist with lameness exams
* Dental
* Radiographs / ultrasounds
* Surgery
* Anesthesia
* Reproduction
* Restraints
* Laboratory
* Management
* Ambulatory work
* Treatment of hospitalized patients
* On call, answering phones, scheduling appointment and general office duties
* Other related duties as needed or assigned

Job Requirements

Requirements:

Veterinary Technicians License
Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Veterinary Technologist or Technician.
Driver license
Knowledge and ability to work with equines, and meet the physical demands of working with and caring for equines.
Computer literate
Friendly, outgoing, energetic
Have excellent attention to detail, and work ethic, work as a team player
